DESCRIPTION:Red Dog CF announced today that Red Dog CF has expanded its Cystic Fibrosis fundraisers this year to include a 5K Run For CF. Shawn Pardieck\, run coordinator\, shared\, " We are pleased to  host this new CF fundraiser on April 22.  Runners and walkers will meet at 9a.m. at the City of Canton parking lot behind Advanced Rehab on First Avenue. The City of Canton has approved our route that takes us through side streets of Canton. The cost is $35 which includes a t-shirt and medals for age group winners.  On race-day the cost increases to $40."\n\n \n\nPardieck continued\, "Runners and walkers can register online with Shazamracing.com by typing in this address-link in their browser: http://register.chronotrack.com/r/27180.  Runners will be able to pick up their race-packets which includes a T-shirt at Billy's Tap from 2-6pm on Friday\, April 21st. On Saturday April 22nd\, those who have not picked up their race-packets will be able to do so  at the 'starting line'  behind the building at Advanced Rehab on First Avenue "\n\n \n\n"Advanced Rehab and Sports Medicine Services has agreed to be the Major sponsor for this first annual 5K race. We are also pleased to announce that four  Main sponsors have been  lined-up. They include\;  CEFCU\, Michaeline Harrison at Maloof Realty\, Billy's Tap\, Quick Electric.  In addition\, Event sponsors include:  Caseys\, Graham Hospital\, Linn Lanes\, Klinedinst Chiropractic and Boondock Tactical. Any businesses who would like to be a sponsor\, or persons who want to participate as a runner\, please call 309-648-1537 for more information."  Pardieck added.\n\n           \n\n            All proceeds will go to the Greater Peoria Cystic Fibrosis [CF] Foundation. CF is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive systems in over 30\,000 people.  Red Dog CF also sponsors a CF Golf Tourney and a Picnic-Dance-Auction  the second Saturday of July. More details for those events will be released in early April.
