DESCRIPTION:Clean Up Week is scheduled for the week of June 19-24.\n\nThe City will provide dumpsters at the City maintenance garage on West Locust Street.  Residents of Canton (identification will be required) may bring items to dispose of during these hours: \n\nM-F (June 19-23) from 7:30am-5:00pm\n\nSaturday (June 24) 8:00am-4:00pm \n\nThe following restrictions still will apply\, however. The City will not accept household appliances including microwaves or electronics\, televisions\, computers\, or monitors.  They also cannot accept environmental waste\, such as tires\, oil\, batteries\, or paint.  Lastly\, they will not pick up yard waste or construction materials. \n\nCity personnel will be on hand to monitor and check identification.\n\n \n\nThe Fulton County Health Dept. is an IEPA-registered drop-off site for electronics.  Residents should call ahead (647-1134) for times and instructions.\n\nGoodwill will also accept computer-related electronics at their drive-up donation door on North Main Street.  Goodwill cannot accept non-computer related electronics\, such as televisions\, microwaves\, and other small appliances. \n\nIf you have any questions\, please contact the Public Works secretary at 647-5022.
